Sharepoint Developer

Seattle, WA

12+  months contract

Rate: Open

 

responsibilities:

 

* Development and Coding of complex .Net, SharePoint, and potentially WCF/SQL based solutions.
* Experience in Designing and Developing SharePoint Features and Web Parts
* Flexibility to learn new skills and technologies as required to meet the changing needs of business
* Willingness to understand the entirety of composite applications developed over multiple technologies like .Net, SharePoint, WCF, SSIS reports etc
* Competency in automated unit testing of the code using tools like
Visual Studio Team System, N-Unit etc to improve the quality of deliverables
* Performing Code Review and Code Quality checks for code developed by other team members
* Defining standards for the creation of SharePoint solutions, including how to perform automated testing.
* Providing guidance to the team on complex technical issues
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of deployment/production issues
* Managing the continuous integration builds(CI Builds) using TFS
 

 

Required Skills:

 

* SharePoint 2010 or later customization/development:-

* Strong OO programming skills with:
o C# and .Net Framework 3.5/4.0
o Visual Studio 2010/2012
o Building web parts
o Features and Functionality
o Client and/or Server APIs
* Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5
* Design Patterns such as MVC, MVVM etc
* Demonstrable understanding of Dependency Injection and
* Inversion of Control highly valued.
* Unit Testing Tools/Frameworks (Visual Studio Team System, N-Unit
* etc)
* Powershell scripting
* Documentation (Design Documentation) skills
* Trouble shooting and diagnosis skills
* Other valued (non-essential) skills:-
* Silverlight
* WCF
* SSRS
* TFS Continuous Integration build
* Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO)
