Need Senior Essbase/Hyperion Technical Resource
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: 1 year +
Interview: Face to Face after Phone Interview.
Senior Essbase/Hyperion Technical Resource - Experience:
· At least ten (10) years of diverse experience in Information Technology with emphasis on Data warehousing OLAP tools.
· At least ten (10) years of experience in OLAP design, analysis, architecture, development, implementation, reporting, administration, and migration of various applications in client/server environment using Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Essbase Integration Services, Hyperion Reports, Hyperion Analyzer, Essbase Spread Sheet Add-in, Essbase Query Designer under Windows and UNIX environments.
· Extensive knowledge in Hyperion Business Rules (HBR), Hyperion Application Link (HAL), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Financial Data Quality Management (FDM) Essbase Calculation scripts, Essbase Commands and Essbase functions.
· Extensive knowledge in relational databases, repositories, master data management, metadata management and data administration.
· Interacting with business users at various levels and converting their functional requirements into technical specifications.
· Creating OLAP Models and Meta outlines using Essbase Integration Services (EIS) to populate Essbase database as well as performed Dense/Sparse settings, Optimization of Data load and Optimization of Calculation scripts and Business Rules.
· Understanding and use of ESSCMD and MAXL scripts used for automation and partitioning.
· Use of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Financial Data Management (FDM) to load both metadata and data from various source systems as well as experienced in working with Aggregate Storage Outline (ASO) and Block Storage Outline (BSO).
· Reporting cube planning, design and development.
· Senior level (at least 15 years) technical resource with ability to identify and implement process improvements and make technology recommendations for a more scalable and robust financial reporting solution leveraging best industry practices.
