Position : Senior QA Tester with Endeca testing and Social Medial experience
Location : Torrance, CA
Duration : 12 Months
**Need locals with in-person interview available.
Must - Social Medial experience along with Endeca testing.
Job Level Specific Duties:
Works on less complex applications and/or issues.
Assist in Identifying opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.
Creates new development procedures.
Assist in creating new processes to drive desired results.
Collaborates with and understands business goals.
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on technical matters.
Typical Years of Experience
Typically requires 9-10 years relevant experience.
Minimum Education and Certifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Skills
Solid understanding of at least one programming language.
Solid knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications.
Solid knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
Solid knowledge of client / server networks.
Strong ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
Knows and consistently applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of applications programming.
Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
Project Description:
Lead the overall test and QA effort for the project
Define the processes, methods and accelerators to be used in the project to ensure optimal test planning, preparation and execution
Lead the team in functional (manual and automated) and non-functional (performance) testing
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates Test Plan document and test cases as per requirements.
Perform functional testing
Participates in User Acceptance Testing
Create test plans, test scripts, regression test scripts, and end to end functional testing
Support UI testing via Endeca and do some data validation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Social Medial experience along with Endeca testing.
Defect management skills using Rational CQ.
Text analytics and open source product testing
QAT - Functional Testing - Test Execution
QAT - Functional Testing - IBM Rational
QAT - Data Quality Testing - Data Quality Testing
Desired Skills:
BI skills
