Job Description:TITLE: QA Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES: The QA Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance duties throughout the project lifecycle.
TERM: 3 Months w/ possible extension (looking for a long term resource who will be extended in 3 month increments)
RATE: Pay $55/hr CTC
3RD PARTY/H1B: Yes
REMOTE: No
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA
INTERVIEW: Phone then f2f (mandatory)
UJO 3/31/14: NOTES FROM INTAKE CALL: Looking for a QA Analyst with at least 4 years' of experience in writing Automation scripts. Need experience with Unix, writing queries, Quality Center (preferably 11), and candidate with Cucumber or Selenium will get the job.

Responsibilities:
- Perform static testing techniques against all project documentation for assigned projects
- Analyze project requirements and technical specifications to create Test Plan and Strategy documents
- Use test design techniques to design the tests to efficiently ensure that functionality is performing as intended
- Automate the tests by developing test scripts, following the team's standards and guidelines
- Execute on test plans and strategies
- Conduct formal test case review sessions with project team and incorporate feedback
- Provide test case to requirements traceability
- Plan and schedule all QA deliverables during project lifecycle
- Execute manual and automated test cases, document actual results, and evaluate actual to expected results
- Perform exploratory testing using experiential testing techniques
- Develop SQL queries to retrieve data for validation purposes
- Knowledgeable in various SDLC methodologies including waterfall, agile, and iterative approaches
- 4+ years QA experience focusing on software verification, back-end data validation, and automation
- 2+ years experience designing and executing tests for enterprise scale web based applications
- 2+ years experience testing in UNIX environment
- 2+ years experience developing and performing SQL queries in an Oracle database environment
- Experience with a defect tracking tool such as Quality Center
- Experience with a test case management tool such as Quality Center.
- Experience developing automated tests with a keyword driven test framework; Selenium or Cucumber preferred
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years QA experience focusing on software verification, back-end data validation, and automation

- 2+ years experience testing in UNIX environment
