Technical Recruiters Immediate Looking for:::::SAS Administrators ::::Reston, VA:::: 6+ months

I hope you are doing well. I am sending the new requirement, please go through it and let me know if you are comfortable.
 
Need            :  SAS Administrators
Location     :  Reston, VA
Duration     :   6+ months
 
Need EAD,USC or GC 
 
Work as Sas administrator in the Enterprise Tools team to install, configure and support Sas environments.
Plans, coordinates and implements product upgrades and performs maintenance activities, troubleshoots system related problems and is responsible for the overall availability of the tools infrastructure and the environment.
Troubleshoot Sas infrastructure issues and implement required changes following the change management processes.
Provide input and interface with platform teams, report developers, testers and end users.
Understands Connectivity and troubleshooting in the context of Sas reporting
Strong knowledge of Sas application design
Good understanding of fundamental server monitoring principles, techniques and strategies
Experience with infrastructure level projects such as system upgrades, platform and technology migrations.
Good understanding of monitoring strategies that focus on ensuring stability and proactive response to outages
Knowledge of Operating Systems, Middleware and Database technologies
Ability to demonstrate ability to troubleshoot issues with all Sas client tools
Ability to demonstrate database concepts troubleshoot complex queries.
Strong verbal, written, leadership, communication, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skills required
 
Basic Qualification:
7+ years of experience in Sas 9 implementation, installation, architecture design and administration.
3+ years of experience working on supporting multiple medium to large size projects preferred
Experience with Apache/Tomcat
Experience with Java and Linux shell scripting preferred
Strong troubleshooting techniques for basic and advanced infrastructure issues.
Strong relational database and SQL experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
 
Preferred Skills:
Unix, Linix and Solaris administration experience.
Experience with SAN and NFS file systems.
Experience with trouble ticketing systems.
 
 
Overall IT experience
SAS Administration
SAS 9 implementations, installations, architecture design and admin
Apache/Tomcat
Java and Linux shell scripting
Troubleshooting infrastructure issues
Unix, Linux, Solaris administration
SAN/NFS file systems
Trouble ticketing systems
