Position: Sr. Java Developer with Hadoop experience.
Location: NNYC, NY
Duration: Long-term
Experience: 10+ Years.
- A full stack developer in Java 7 or higher. Experience in Java 12 is desirable but the Important thing is to understand/ramp upto scala& functional programming. Expert in J2EE and related frameworks including latest front end frameworks.
- Experience working with Perl/Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Big Data solutions (Cassandra/Hadoop/CouchDB, MapReduce, Mahout)
- Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches, AWS, Memcache or Nginx
- Solid experience in working with Distributed Systems, Caching and Experience with performance tuning and scaling systems a plus.
