Senior Infrastructure Business Analyst – Networking

Location: San Francisco

Duration: 6-12 months

Required Qualifications:

Experience gathering requirements for networking infrastructure – Cisco and multivendor

Experience gathering requirements for Disaster recovery projects
Understanding of reliability and availability considerations fornetworking infrastructure
3+ years of experience in similar or related job functions
Broad experience in requirements and analysis

Participation in large, complex projects with aggressive schedules
Understanding of systems development life cycle

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working with business users and technical staff
Extensive experience in gathering requirements
Experience in putting together workshops and interviewing staff to collect project data

Strong communications skills, initiative, and teamwork
Continuous education in IT or business specific areas
Detail oriented, analytical, good oral and written communication skills

Working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel and Visio
General understanding of the utilities domain, particularly electric distribution operations.
NERC CIP experience a plus

Communication/Soft Skills:

Superior writing skills

Superior verbal communication
Superior presentation skills

Business and Financial acumen
Organized and articulate

Strong team worker
Capable of working with business groups and clients on requirements and scheduling

Independent, self-starter, needs little or no supervision
