Position Details:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following testing skills:
- 10 years or more experience in leading and delivering testing services in multiple technologies and industry.
- Advanced understanding of software test methodologies, testing tools, and development methodologies and their interaction.
- Strong in project management and customer/vendor management.
- Familiarities with document capture products Captiva and Documentum.
Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS
· Must have testing experience with Captiva, Documentum. This includes the following types of testing:
o Unit/integration/system testing
o Interface testing
o 3rd party vendor integration testing
· Must have 10 years or more experience in leading and delivering testing services in multiple technologies and industry.
· Must have advanced understanding of software test methodologies, testing tools, and development methodologies and their interaction.
· Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated influencing skills, and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
· Must have experience with test management and testing tools. Preferably HP ALM 11.x, Business Process Testing, Unified Functional Tester 11.x, and Performance Center 11.x.
· Must be able to perform risk analysis, validate requirements and specifications, establish testing priorities and scope:
o Develop test plans
o Evaluate, develop and validate test scenarios
o Develop performance scenarios for testing
o Validate requirement traceability and testing coverage
· Must be proficient in test reporting and metrics:
o Test planning and coverage reporting
o Test execution summary reporting
o Defect management and reporting
o Escalate quality issues for resolution
o Testing status and project feedback
o Archive testing assets in order to verify completion of testing
· Strong team player.
Required Education and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
· Experience working for a Consulting Services organization
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in a time critical environment
· Must excel in an agile / iterative development environment
Optional Skills:
- Production support experience is desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
· Generate testing estimates and staffing requirements.
· Develop testing deliverables (test plan, test cases, status reports)
· Lead system integration test efforts
· Take part in test execution responsibilities and report results
· Lead defect review meetings and enforce defect management policy.
· Archive test assets.
