Job Description – Configuration Manager
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Duration: 8 +Months Contract
Interview Process: 1st round: Phone / 2nd round: On site (REQUIRED)
 
Hiring team is looking to start scheduling interviews by April 7th Monday.
 
Mandatory:

Must have skills: 
The resumes won’t be considered if the candidate doesn’t meet all the criteria.
a. Hands-on Jenkins/Hudson tool development and administration experience required – minimum 3 yrs, No other competing tools accepted.
b. SVN Administration – Atleast 4-5 yrs
c. Unix scripting – 5-7 yrs
d. Basic to moderate WebSphere administration 3-5 yrs
e. Application knowledge to troubleshoot issues 3-5 yrs
 
Job Requirements
- Must have hands-on experience in SVN Administration
- Must have hands-on implementation/setup experience supporting a large development team.
- Must have 2-3years of experience in Jenkins/Hudson tool
- Experiences in software configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with of source management systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with software packaging tools and scripting techniques.
- Must be able to lead change and release management efforts for large, complex applications across multiple environments.
- Should be hands on in creating build scripts with ant/maven or shell, performing deployments, setting up Application environments.
- Should be comfortable in Websphere Application Server Administration, Websphere Process Server Administration, using UDB 9 database, using Oracle 10g Database and using Sybase 12 Database.
- Good Problem Solving Skills to debug issues, figure out root cause, should be able to modify, maintain and improve existing application deployments.
- Process focused, should be able to follow processes laid out as well as find deficiencies and propose performance improvements.
- Manage a body of work well, figure out dependencies, create a plan and execute it accordingly.
- Should be able to find areas of improvement and automation and work towards it, should be self-motivated.
