Role: Travel Business Analyst (Ticketing)
Location: Centennial, CO or Kansas, KS
Duration: 6+ Months
Rates: Open
Must have Skills:
1. Around 6-8 years BA experience which should include 3-4 years' experience as BA in Travel Industry (Travel/GDS/Airline Industry experience).
2. Very strong BA Experience in Requirements Gathering using Use Cases and agile methodologies.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships in the product and technical teams.
4. Inquisitive with self-sufficient research skills; excellent attention to detail.
5. Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate and build consensus.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
| Ticketing |
| · Must have experience working in GDS Ticketing / Doc Prod Area. · Must be conversant with Ticket Void, Exchange and refund Concept for Airlines. · Must be familiar with GDS Ticket Printer devices. · Must be familiar with different documents printed at the time of Ticketing. · Nice to have familiarity with Edifact messages. · Nice to have knowledge of Satellite Ticket print and Queue ticketing. · Nice to have knowledge of EMD and Merchandising. · Nice to know Paper and Electronic ticketing concepts |

| · Must have experience working in PNR. · Must have PNR recoup and recovery. · Must know about PDQ PNRs and its significance. · Must have knowledge of PNR elements and their significance · Nice to have experience in Custom Check Rules and GDS Client File/Profiles/World Files. · Nice to know concepts like Nightly file Maintenance and PNR indexing and its significance. · Nice to know the GDS concepts of Claim and Dropthrough. |

| Subscribers Area |
| · Must be Proficient in Teletype, Seats and Subscribers and GDS Queues. · Must be familiar with Supplier Provisioning for Teletype. · Must understand Airimp Standards for Teletype messages and different Teletype messages. · Must be familiar with the GDS concepts of Pseudo City Code/SID and their provisioning. · Nice to have familiarity with Edifact messages. · Must be familiar with Seat Map and assignment as well as should have concept of paid Seats. · Nice to have knowledge of Service bureau and Consolidators. |
