Location: Washington, DC Area
Duration: 6 months to 12 months
Database Analyst/Developer needed- as a contractor on a client site in the Washington, DC area for 6 months with possible extension up-to a year.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to work with clients in solving business problems and documenting solutions.
Applicant should have strong communication and writing skills, attention to detail and ability to work well with others.
The Applicant is also expected to meet the following requirements:
· At least 3 years software development experience – with exposure to the full software life-cycle
· Experience with Oracle 10G or 11G
· Expertise in PLSQL
· UNIX OS and scripting experience is preferred
· Expertise in Oracle performance tuning (SQL, database and system)
· Experience with SAS programming is a plus
· Experience with Reporting Tool(s) (MicroStrategy, etc.) using Oracle databases is a plus.
