Technical Recruiters SharePoint Developer | Boston , MA ( Required Locals )

Job Title:             SharePoint Developer

Location:             10 Park Plaza – Boston MA - 02116

Duration:            12 months contract

 

Duties include:

·         Development, configuration, and administration of SharePoint Portal; Manage SharePoint end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations

·         Analyze the agencies information architecture and understand the institutional and departmental requirements

·         Support application development teams and Active Directory administrators throughout project lifecycles;

·         Develop SharePoint components including web parts, pages and services; User controls;  windows services and workflows using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer;

·         Responsible for global portal and WSS configuration, shared services, policies, procedures, and portal vision;

·         Make recommendations for the use of SharePoint and/or related technologies to improve public and private sites;

·         Anticipate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SharePoint problems; 

·         Support of SQL Server Database System; Reporting, Analysis and Integration Services on enterprise and dedicated Windows servers.

·         Administer and tune SharePoint-related content indexing and search applications;

·         Perform SharePoint network and security audits and manage security for all sub-sites; Assist in  supporting backup and recovery of SharePoint sites;

·         Provide detailed reporting of SharePoint server and user activity; Provide general user training for SharePoint sites, including the use of content management features;

·         Planning and implementation of organizational taxonomies, governance, policies and procedures to ensure SharePoint provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with our goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements;

 

 

General Qualifications

  • Experience in Upgrade SharePoint Application from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010/2013 Server.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, MS Info Path 2010/2007, Share Point Object Model, Share Point Designer 2010/2007, Web Content Management, MOSS Central Administration, Feature Development, Web Parts and Document Management.
  • Experience in assorted portion of.NET platform together with .Net Framework 3.5 or greater, ASP .Net, ADO.Net, VB .Net, C#, AJAX, Silverlight, LINQ, Active Directory, Custom Control, User Control, MS Visual Studio 2010, MSQL Server 2008 or greater, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS).
  • Experience in Web Services, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, Managing SharePoint with Windows PowerShell Scripting and Collaboration Application Markup Language (CAML),
  • Experience in SharePoint - Web Application Management, Site Collection and Site Administration, Security and authorization, Alternate Access Mappings, Definitions and Features Architectural, Backup and Restore, Single Sign On Administration, Microsoft Office Integration with SharePoint.
  • Experience in develop deployment solutions to deploy Web Parts, Event Receivers, List Definitions and Work flows without affecting the rest of the SharePoint farm.
  • Working knowledge in establishing sandbox environment, planning server configuration and performance, plan for failover and disaster recovery, integration and maintenance
  • Experience in SharePoint 2007 Security methods, Cross-Site Scripting and Claims-Based Authentication.
  • Working Knowledge of Site Template, Content types SharePoint API Development, Web Parts Development, Features Development, CAML in object Model, SharePoint Messaging and Workflows Development using VB.NET.
  • Experience in Enterprise Content Management System- Document Management, Web Content Management and Record Management with Workflow, Information management Policy and Versioning.
  • Experience in Shared Services Administering User Profiles, Audiences, Personal Sites, Configuring Search Site, Indexing, Business Data Catalog.
  • Extensive experience with Business Connectivity Services, Power Shell, Service Applications, Business Data Connectivity (BDC), EXCEL Service,, Business Intelligence Dash Board, Excel Import, KPI for Key Performance and Data Connection Library.
  • Experience in Developing Master Pages, Tag Pages using Skins, Themes, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Web User Controls in SharePoint Server.
  • Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Stored Procedures, View, Functions and Triggers.
  • Experience in application level problem diagnosis and trouble shooting, resolution and testing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work individually or within a team environment
  • Develop information technology solutions based on business need and technical considerations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into a technical design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design
  • Ability to take direction, constructive criticism and work to specified deadlines
  • Implement programming changes to production following system life cycle and release strategy procedures
  • Must be sufficiently familiar with data modeling for r SQL Server
  • Familiarity with source control software: Visual Source Safe (VSS)

Skills Required:

·         Web Development: SharePoint 2007/2010/2013, ASP.Net

·         Database: SQL Server 2008/2012

·         Web Servers: Internet Information Server (IIS)

·         SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

·         Microsoft operating systems: Windows Server 2008 R2

·         Strong Object Oriented design and development

·         Enterprise Development: VB.NET, XML, XSLT, PowerShell Scripting, Web Services, WCF, WF, LINQ
