Role/ Job Title             :            Data Warehouse Architect

Location                       :           Santa Clara

Duration                       :           6+ Months

 

Mandatory

Ø  Prior experience leading successful data warehousing implementations specifically with AbInitio as ETL tool as well as a broad background and experience with IT application development

Ø  Responsible for establishing the long-term strategy and technical architecture as well as the short-term scope for a multi-phased data warehouse effort

Ø  Strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Ø  Define key business drivers for the data warehouse initiative

Ø  Deliver a project scope that directly supports the key business drivers

Ø  Define the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g., ETL process, ODS, EDW, Data Marts)

Ø  Define technical requirements, technical and data architectures for the data warehouse

Ø  Design and direct the AbInitio ETL process, including data quality and testing

Ø  Design and direct the information access and delivery effort for the data warehouse

Ø  Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse

Ø  Define meta data standards for the data warehouse

Ø  Direct the data warehouse meta data capture and access effort

Ø  Define production release requirements and sustainment architecture

Preferred:

Ø  Prior-experience of implementing end-to-end data warehousing solutions in Hi-Tech semi-conductor industry

Ø  Understanding of Industry standard Reporting/BI tools
