Job Title: Share Point Admin
Duration: 6 Months
Location: New York City, New York

· Plays a major role in architecting, installation, configuration, security and maintenance of hardware and software for numerous web applications including Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SharePoint platforms.
· Defines, designs and implements highly available, fault tolerant, reliable and effective solutions to support content management, information delivery and workflow needs.
· Takes a proactive role in preventing systems problems. Diagnoses and solves problems when they arise. Proposes and implements enhancements to improve site availability, reliability, and/or performance.
· Automates maintenance and operations activities through scripting, monitoring and vendor applications.
· Provides administrative support for migrating web applications from test to production.
· Implements necessary privacy and security aspects in all web application development, including HIPAA requirements, authentication and authorization rules, encryption and secured protocol with particular consideration of the business implications.
· Maintains the system administration documentation, software updates, architecture documents, and technical specifications for Web Development and management team on all projects. Implements standardized change control procedures.
· Configures SharePoint Services on servers, maintains Front End Servers, Indexing Servers, Application Servers. Installs Features, Web Parts, Templates or other SharePoint related solutions, including vendor s’ software or applications. Responsible for backup, recovery, and maintaining integrity and reliability of SharePoint farm. Responsible for setup and configuration of SharePoint Service Applications, including Excel, Search, Power Pivot Services, etc.
· Works with vendors to troubleshoot problems. Once a month on-call support is required.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· 5-7 years of experience provisioning, implementing and supporting complex web systems with SharePoint 2010 and 2013 and IIS Windows server environment.
· Technology and Applications: MS IIS Web server, HTML, MS Active Directory and LDAP, Team Foundation Server (TFS), .NET, MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint 2013 and 2010, Avepoint, Idera, Coras Works or other vendor solutions for Share point, SSL and other digital certificates.
· Deep understanding of Share point for Office 365, SharePoint 2013 and 2010 architectural considerations and best practices for high-availability, clustering and disaster recovery
· Hands on experience applying Agile/SCRUM and Test Driven Development required.
· Microsoft and other technical certifications not required but highly desired.
