Architectural Engineer

Erlanger, KY  (need local or as close to KY )

The successful candidate will apply architectural principles and establishes technical and process standards for a given platform, architects system design, drives configuration based on requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

• Highly experienced Informatica Architect who can help set and enable technology and process directions, and deliver quality results on time.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in data architecture, 5 years of which is Informatica data integration solutions and deep level of experience with Infortmatica platform architecture in Unix environments.
• Must have experience with Informatica PowerExchange CDC for DB2 z/OS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL highly desired) and the ability to architect techniques for acquiring changed data in source systems. Strong Unix scripting, complex SQL, ETL performance tuning, solid knowledge of Informatica PowerExchange for Web Services (Oracle GoldenGate a plus).
• Able to author, enable, promote best practices for ETL integration design, documentation, transformation algorithms, and fail-safe error handling.
• Exhibit a continuous improvement approach in all activities, and not take a biased stance without empirical evidence of correctness.
• Must have attention to detail, anticipate situations, ability to explain complex problems in simple terms, excellent verbal and written communications, research/support new technologies.
• Able to operate effectively with little direction, manage time to complete assignements with quality and thoroughness, alone and as part of a team.
