Oracle Apps – EAM (Functional Consultant)

               

Role and Responsibilities

- Analyze customer needs in accordance with the specifications of the architecture;

- Configure & Setup Modules

- Complete end to end upgrade testing from 11i to R12.

-  Perform functional analysis from the fit-gap in a Oracle EBS upgrade or implementation context;

-  Facilitate impact analysis sessions;

-  Configure the application according to customer requirements;

-  Make recommendations based on best practices and customer needs;

-  Analyze all requests from our customers;

-  Assist the implementation team;

-  Participate in system testing;

-  Update documentation;

-  Provide implementation and post implementation functional support for the Oracle EBS Suite.

 

MUST HAVE Skill sets

-              Overall 8-10 years of IT experience out of which minimum 6-7  years working experience in EAM

-              Solid business background, hands-on experience in consulting, and Oracle EAM R12 Upgrade experience

•             Oracle Functional consultant for Oracle EBS Enterprise Asset Management modules in R12

Role : Functional / Technical Consultant

 

Job Description:

 

1)Should have experience in R12 implementation / support and have worked on AP,AR and Project accounting and GL modules.

2) Should have knowledge of interface processes between AP, AR and PA.

3) Knowledge of various Intercompany processing.

4) Should have worked on closing AP,AR and PA modules.

5) Good setup knowledge.

6) Sound Knowledge on AP,AR and Project accounting cycles and data flow.

7) Should be able to write queries for troubleshooting issues and knowledge of R12 tables.

8) Should have troubleshooting and analytical skills.

9) Basic Knowledge of Unixcommands.

10)Able to work independantely and interact with the clients on day to day basis.

11) Knowledge of OBIEE would be an added advantage.

 

Responsibilities

1)Handling Month end close and ensuring all the transactions are processed correctly.

2) Handling reconciliation issues between AP ,AR PA and GL.

3) Handling user queries and Production support for Oracle applications R12.0.1.

4) Handling reporting month end to generate reports in Cognos and other reporting       systems used by clients.

5) Troubleshooting issues related to Payment batches.

6) Assisting users and offices in closing the AP,AR and PA modules for their individual offices for particular month as a part of month end activities.

7) Working on various close related activities.

8) Troublshooting issues during the close.

9)Doingvarious setups in AP,AR and PA.

10) Working on operations activities like processing transactions stuck in interface, running intercompany processes.

11) Resolving exceptions for the intercompany transactions.

12) Generating reports after the month end close using OBIEE and recording them to the reporting applications.

13) Communicate with the clients and user communities to understand the issues and provide solutions.
