Job Title: Java Portal Lead

Duration: 9 Months

Location: San Leandro, CA, US

Min :10 Years Exp as java developer

 

Qualifications:

Job Description
- Resource will be responsible for design and development of a Java/J2EE application and integrating them into a Portal  framework.
- Good understandig of design patterns
- Knowledge, skill and experience with the portal and portlet design and development using portal API or JSR 268 and JSR 16
- Experience with Spring MVC framework
- Programming in a J2EE environment with JSP/Servlets
- Web front-end experience (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Resource should have the ability to perform code review and identify design or development issues.
- Resource should be a good team player and should provide production support by troubleshooting and fixing issues. 
- Attention to detail, ability to translate business requirements into technical friendly specifications to create Technical Specs and bug free code
- Coordinate with the Offshore team to ensure that the Offshore team understand the project goals and technical details.
- Take ownership of the offshore deliverables.
-  Experince in WebLogic, JBoss Application server environment
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+year experience in  application design and development of Portal with at least 1+ years in the role of lead designer.
- At least 3 years hands on development experience in JSR 168/ 286 and complete understanding of JSR specs.
- Strong knowledge of Portal architecture
Ability to lead Offshore developers and be responsible/accountable for the tasks
- Experience in JDBC & ORACLE require
- Experience in JBoss would be a plus
- Experience in versioning and managing/deployment of code
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in authoring technical documentation and performing reviews, design, data manipulation, and creative problem solving
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
 
Preferred Skills
-
7+ years technical background with Java/J2EE/Struts/Hibernate/JBoss/Ajax/Portlets

- Oracle PL/SQL
Good to have Skill:
       Project experience in JBOSS 6.X and later versions.
