Position: Database Administrator
Job Location: Columbia SC
Job Duration: 4 months
Candidate will serve as Chief contact for agency database issues. Candidate must be very familiar with the SCDOI database upgrade from Oracle 11.1g to Oracle 11.2G.
Requirements:
· 5+ years database administration experience
· Outstanding communication and troubleshooting skills
· Strong skills in Oracle 11G, Toad/SQL Developer, Oracle Enterprise manager, Microsoft office tools.
· Knowledgeable and experienced in common methods used for performance tuning on Oracle server database.
· OCP Certified with expertise in performance tuning. 4-5 years of Oracle production and application experience.
· Extensive experience in installing and configuring databases.
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or business or equivalent work experience
