Duration: 6+ Months

Start: ASAP

 

Need at least 10 years of IT experience.

 

Job Description:

 

Mandatory Skills: Java / J2EE with Insurance/ banking experience

 

Soft Skills:

•             Good verbal and written communication skills

•             Has worked on Onsite – Offshore model and understand the challenges involved in this model

•             Team Player

•             Sense of ownership and urgency / importance

 

Essential Skills:

 

•             Good at Requirements capture

•             Low Level Design

•             Development of complicated code modules

•             Acceptance testing

•             To produce quality technical documentation

•             To decompose technical tasks and provide estimates

•             To understand and adhere to technical processes such as code reviews.

 

Technical Skills:

 

•             Must have experience and knowledge of current Java technologies and methodologies, and hands-on experience in the following:

o             The application of design patterns

o             Test-Driven Development (TDD)

o             Development of Document Style and RESTFul Web Services

o             Relational databases  (Primary Sybase, Idea on Oracle)

o             Object-relational Mappers (e.g., Hibernate)

o             JUnit

o             Maven

o             JSP/Servlets

o             Web front-end experience (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
