QA Tester (iOS Must)

Location: Hopkins, MN

Duration: 6 months to 2 years

Responsibilities:

- You responsibility as a Senior QA will include test planning/strategy/execution for our windows app and new iOS application.
- You will be working in a delivery focused environment, working closely with senior developers and QA across a range of projects.

Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in a technical subject, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology or Internet Systems.
- Experience in testing windows desktop applications.
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
- Experience in performing Senior QA/ lead Role in within a similar environment.
- Must have previously worked in Scrum, XP or a similar agile methodology, and an understanding of Test Driven Development and/or Business Driven Development

- Solid Experience of testing iOS applications on iPad.
- Experience of testing mobile web
- Experience working with Microsoft Test Manager, Visual Studio.
- Experience of working with Simulator

- Understanding of the iOS apps release process
- Excellent logic and problem solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail.
- An innovator as well as an implementer.
- Able to understand and apply business imperatives as needed.

Core Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodology and hands-on application test experience.
- Ability to quickly grasp the application domain and functionality.
- Good understanding of User Perspective
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is kept so that all project team members are clear on the status of    the project(s) currently underway.
- Working knowledge of defect management and test management tools.
- Awareness of the defect analysis and prevention processes.
- Be able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver successfully in a fast paced environment.
- Collaborative when dealing with others and positive in general working outlook
