Position Purpose
Work with "BU contacts" to define their Windows server requirements, providing them with recommendations, and implementing the agreed upon solution.
Work with the Lifecycle team to assist in migrating Citrix Servers from XenApp 4.5 or 5.0 to XenApp 6.5.
Troubleshooting of various types of Citrix related issues on productive systems.
Create, deploy, and fine-tune published applications and published desktops.
Leverage Windows Scripting and Group Policy skills to make enhancements to Citrix environment.
Assist in onboarding of XenDesktop, Quest, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services to work with Windows 2012 R2.
Leverage technical leadership and Citrix knowledge to drive solutions to the level 3 Citrix related issues that occur within our global environment.

Experience:
5+ years of Citrix technical experience in an enterprise environment.
Experience designing and implementing complex Windows Server solutions.
Technical support experience in an enterprise networked (LAN/WAN) environment.
Familiarity in a global enterprise with:
Windows 2003 & 2008 Server OS
Citrix
VMware
Dell Hardware
5+ years of Citrix technical experience in an enterprise environment.
Experience designing and implementing complex Windows Server solutions.
Technical support experience in an enterprise networked (LAN/WAN) environment.
Familiarity in a global enterprise with:
Windows 2003 & 2008 Server OS
Citrix
VMware
Dell Hardware
Skills
Effectively participate in a virtual, global, diverse, distributed team.
Strong problem-solving / customer service skills.
Ability to quickly cut through issues and choose best solutions and course of action.
Demonstrated project leadership ability.
Knowledge or experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Configuration)
