Job Description:
As a Specialist – ATG, the person is responsible for
· Architect & develop commerce features such as search, product details, personalization, merchandizing features such as catalog, pricing and promotions, order, checkout process, campaigns and integrations of the enterprise systems.
· Architect & develop solutions around LBGUPS.
· translating client requirements into technical designs, design schemas and integrate with enterprise systems, content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of ATG.
· Define implementation processes, quality gates and standards using AT&T methodology
· Define best practices to implement nonfunctional requirements like performance and scalability of the ecommerce solution.
· accountable for the necessary health of the overall solution.
· Improve processes and develop systematic solutions to problem patterns.
· Develop Online Channel Digital Customer experiences based on a foundation of ATG Commerce
· Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation.
· Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions.
· Provide inputs and direction to senior developers on the team for design and implementation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Mastery of J2EE specifically JSP, Servlet, Architecture Patterns, Design Patterns, Eclipse and ANT
· Deep understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases.
· Expert understanding of ATG foundational and commerce concepts and has experience & knowledge of form handlers, Droplets, ATG repositories, Servlet pipelines, content administration, personalization and scenario development.
· Expert in catalog, order management, promotions, B2B commerce.
· Expert understanding of integration patterns with a Portal, Search, Content management package or other platforms.
· Business Knowledge: Ecommerce domain experience would be a must
· Agile development experience a must
· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
· Motivated to accomplish team goals in a fast paced environment.
