Job Title:  QA Tester
Location:  Sandiago, CA (Locals only)
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:
Looking for manual testing experience that will then take apps out to production in the AWS Cloud.
Know JavaScript
There is some legacy PHP code, so any PHP would be great - jQuery is the backbone
Any Mongo or AWS is a plus
Java is a plus
Platform is Centos , LINUX, AWS
Fun team- small group of 16 at the office- ice cream parties- relaxed..
Interview will be Phone or Skype

Description:
Responsible for the testing of web applications and UI. Creates test plans and identifies issues.  Sorts through reports from customers and product owners to
identify issues.  Documents, prioritizes, and reproduces issues.

Responsibilities
Ensure our web site is thoroughly tested.
Ensure a high level of quality across our web presence.
Create and maintain automated and manual test suites.
Perform performance analysis on the client side Javascript.
Document and log bugs in a bug-tracking system.
Prioritize bugs, and develop reproducable cases.
Be creative at finding edge cases.
Stay aware of all the latest web and browser developments, and keep the testing framework up-to-date.
Heavy involvement in the release cycle and release approval.
Work directly with development in an Agile environment.
Work with others to address customer support issues.
 
Experience
Experience in a QA role or equivalent
Proficient in an interpretive language( Python, Javascript, PHP, etc) Experience with basic SQL queries Comfortable with light Linux related tasks Knowledge in other applicable languages a plus(Java, Objective C, .Net)
