BO Administrator
Lincolnshire,IL
6 month plus ext/perm
Green Card and US Citizen ONLY (Someone eligible to go perm)

 

Must Have:
Several years as a Business Objects Administrator with experience on Versions 3.1 and 4.0
Migration experience (currently going from 3.1 to 4.0)
3+ years' experience supporting Business Objects XI R3.1 or 4.0 and previous versions
3+ years' experience working with the Central Management Console, including the ability to administer, deploy, install and configure Business Objects
3+ years of Business Objects experience with Infoview, Crystal, and Web Intelligence reports
Windows OS
Monitoring
Good knowledge of Business Objects Security
Working knowledge or relational database.  Good SQL knowledge and basic database connectivity knowledge.
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and VM environment.
Good communication skills
Good troubleshooting skills

 

Plus:
Database design and data warehouse experience is a plus
Cognos

 

Project:
Primarily serves as the Business Objects 4.0 Administrator responsible for smooth operation of the Production environment, for migration of software, applying software patches and upgrading the Business Objects software suite. Migration from 3.1 on Unix to 4.0 on Windows.  Provide support for development to assist programmers and end users in the proper operation and modification of subject application. 

Client is seeking a Business Objects Administrator NOT a Developer.
