Role: Business Analyst with Mobile experience- Retail Domain
Location: WoonSocket, RI
Duration: 12 Months
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
- Strong skills to understand, conceptualize, and depict system solutions that span multiple systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- experience in creating business cases and writing proposals
- experience in the software development methodology lifecycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business, functional, and non-functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation
- experience working in Retail domain
- experience in facilitation of requirements gathering workshops
- Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information
- Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff)
- Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language
- experience in working on projects with multiple business Analysts
- Reasoning and decision-making skills, to determine and recommend solution alternatives that satisfy requirements while also meeting aggressive schedules and budgets
- Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
Roles and responsibility
- Documenting and managing requirements throughout development lifecycle
- Validating requirements test coverage in test strategy, test plan and test scenarios
- Lead requirement elicitation workshops
- Focal point for desired business solution for all IS groups
- Support the Solution Architect in defining the solution and communicating to the application team
- Clearly articulate the system solution to all business partners and application Business Analysts
- Facilitate meetings with business and IS people, over phone using web conferencing with large number of people
- Support Enterprise Test phase of the project
- Understanding trends in the market and preparing detailed business plan
- Coordinates with multiple teams in the project to resolve all the queries related to business requirements
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Retal Background, experience in Store Operation is a plus
Total experience in required skill (years) ~4 years
Pay Rate per hour (payable to vendor) $50/hr
Work Location Woonsocket, RI
Duration 10 months
