Job Description
This individual will participate in the development of the new core BPM platform. We need an individual with strong Java back end experience, and familiarity with:
• Agile/Scrum, ideally having participated in a team following these practices.
• Test Driven Development. JUnit and mocking libraries (e.g., Mockito or JMockit) are a must.
• Principles of Object Oriented programming, interfaces, abstractions, dependencies, etc.
• Core Java & related utilities/libraries, particularly collections, multithreading & queues (java.util.concurrent.* package), JMX (java.management.*), security, XML, JSON, JDBC, Maven, SLF4J &
logback.
• Spring Framework, Google Guice, dependency injection, JDBC templates, and support for JMS.
• Distributed applications, load balancing, fail-over, high availability, etc.
• Messaging and JMS. Previous ActiveMQ hands-on experience is a plus, particularly with the use of embedded brokers.
• Relational database modeling; Oracle and PL/SQL programming.
• No-SQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
