The Content Management team is responsible for the build, deployment & tooling of various content management, collaboration, social, search and archiving platforms like Jive, Social ware, SharePoint, Autonomy and Documentum. We deliver platform expertise, scale and tooling on top of a globally distributed infrastructure. Innovation, performance, reliability, efficiency, ease of deployment & management along with aggressive ROI are all core deliverables.
We seek a candidate with 5+ years of IT experience to work in a group focused on social media solutions. The successful candidate will have experience designing, developing, deploying and maintaining efficient solutions to complex business requirements. Primary responsibilities will be design, coding, integration testing, support of enhancements to existing applications and developing new applications. Vendor products comprise a significant part of our portfolio and we expect a new hire to become an expert in them over time.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are required. The candidate must be comfortable communicating with business unit managers, developers, engineers and service managers.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, someone who can work independently and as a member of a team and work under pressure in a fast changing environment. Skills Required - Expertise in Unix/Linux OS
- Java and/or Perl
- Web development
- Good knowledge of RDBMS
- Team player with strong sense of commitment and ability to multitask and operate in a fast paced environment. Skills Desired - Experience with Jive or other enterprise social media products
- Experience with unified communications and or collaboration products.
