The CVA Technology team is responsible for developing Risk Management systems for the Credit Valuation Adjustment trading desk, also benefitting the firm's Credit Risk and Market Risk departments, and is currently embarked in a multi-year new development effort.
Looking for a highly skilled, motivated, innovative Java developer with breadth and depth of technology skills and strong Comp Sci background to help develop various components of the new system.
The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into production and also have outstanding communication skills. Skills Required Solid, proven server side core Java commercial experience. Familiarity with Spring. Strong object oriented design and architecture, design patterns, ability to innovate. SQL, familiarity with one of the major databases: DB2, Sybase, etc. Familiarity with at least one of Perl, Python or Scala. XML/SOAP. Skills Desired Any C#, C++, or DB2 experience are appreciated. Any financial system development exposure is a strong plus, fixed income in particular.
