Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 6 months long contract

Jobs Description:

Manager's notes: At this point, we are indeed looking for a Java, Windows Systems level developer for a short term contract position (up to 6 months initially). We want this developer to be onsite in our offices in Redmond - there is an option to work from home/remotely a couple of days in the week but the person needs to be local in the Seattle area.

We're looking for an experienced Java developer to help with our Java interoperability efforts, writing, reviewing and testing Java code and API designs, consulting the team and helping solve deep technical problems. The ideal candidate will have:

· At least 5 years of professional Java coding experience (Java EE in particular)

· Familiarity with common Java runtime/server technologies, JSP (Tomcat, GlassFish, Jetty, WebSphere, Weblogic, Spring)

· Experience with security and encryption related APIs

· Experience with agile and test-driven development (unit testing, JUnit, Mule)

· Strong knowledge of the Eclipse IDE. Knowledge of Netbeans and IntelliJ IDE will be a nice bonus.

· Familiarity with Ant, Maven, Jenkins/Hudson

· Experience with cloud computing, Java client library development, especially coding against REST APIs

· Windows Systems knowledge having experience in C++, Win32 API will be great and strongly preferred

· Eclipse plugin development experience is preferred, but not required
