Job Summary: Looking for an outside contractor to join our team for 12 months to assist our 4 person Workday support team for global 70+ country HR implementation of Workday. We are looking to bring in an individual with deep workday expertise that has the ability to solve difficult problems and assist us with reports, clients support, security, talent, compensation, configuration, and many other areas.
Job Title: Workday Certified Consultant
This position will provide support for our global HR system within Workday. Specific responsibilities are outlined under the 'Key Responsibilities' section below. Candidates should have strong HR functional knowledge and excellent technical abilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand, configure, and maintain standardized HR business processes for 60+ countries examples include some of the following:
• Data Changes (cost center, department, job, manager, employee status, etc.)
• Job (Hire, Job Reassignment, Promotion, Revaluation, Term, etc.)
• Leave (Admin, FMLA, Maternity, Paternity, Personal, Sabbatical, Worker's Comp, etc.)
• Compensation (Merit, DBO/DB, Profit Sharing, etc.)
• Transfer (career change, career development, lateral, reorg, etc.)
• Talent (PMP, MSD, Job Profiles, Competencies, etc.)
• Define and support HR master data.
• Develop HR reports to meet client's needs.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce security model and associated rules
• Design and maintain HR Portal
• Perform vendor management.
• Lead and manage projects including their definition, plans, tracking, and execution.
• Partner with HR functional clients in defining and supporting their process and technology needs.
• Partner with IT technical providers in the construction and delivery of IT technology solutions.
• Develop expertise in the Workday tool (data, processes, configuration, security, reporting, etc.)
• Provide limited off-hours support for global clients as needed.
• Support for 60+ countries.
Required Skills and Experiences
• 8 or more years of HR functional experience or proven ability to learn HR business processes
• 3 or more years of workday configuration support
• Strong analytical abilities including process design
• Package software configuration experience
• Vendor management experience
• Performing requirements analysis for business processes
• Security and audit controls experience and knowledge
• Ability to use technical tools to perform analytics, data transformation, and reporting
• Project management and coordination skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate to clients
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated team player
Bachelor's degree is required.
