Contract Position: Drupal Website Administrator consultant

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 18 months

 

DUTIES ·         Assist in redesigning both its Intranet and Internet websites using the Drupal CMS. ·         Assist in converting the Intranet and Internet sites to Drupal and, in the process, enhance the Drupal skill set of the Web Services Office staff. ·         Services provided will include, but may not be limited to the following:   1.       Completing front end Drupal tasks for the Internet and Intranet project including: a.       Menus b.      Views c.       Blocks d.      Permissions e.       Roles f.        Content types g.       Panels h.      FAPE i.        Organic Groups   2.       Training Web Services Office staff and working closely with them on a daily basis to mentor and enhance their Drupal skill set. 3.       Working with Business Unit content contributors to transfer their content to Drupal and assist in training them.

Skills/Experience Required

·         Drupal 7

o    18 Months experience in a distributed content authoring system

§  Experience in managing multiple approval workflows

o    12 Months experience in the user and website administration (setting roles/permissions)

o    12 Months Experience in troubleshooting, styles, layouts, and content

·         Drupal 6

o    18 Months Experience in a distributed content authoring system

·         12 Months Experience in actively using and contributing content with Drupal that is using Panels/Panopoly

·         Good oral and written communication skills
