PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Software Engineer you will
- Work with our Delivery teams in a fast paced environment to provide Data Engineering solutions to a variety of real business challenges.
- Be a liaison between the DB Analysis and the rest of the Delivery, and be expected to analyze and resolve complex business issues
Education
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and ETL (Informatica) development
- Be familiar with UNIX shell scripting and Perl programming
- Have worked in the Asset Management or Financial Services industry
- Have demonstrated full Software Development Life Cycle experience using Rapid/Agile Development methodology
- Have worked with geographically distributed and remote project teams
Possess very good written and oral communication skills, must have a ‘Can Do’ attitude
