Technical Recruiters Urgent Requirement : OBIA Developer : MA : 6+Month : Face to face confirmed interview

Role : OBIA Developer

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Braintree, Massachusetts

Interview : Face to face after phone interview

 

Candidate must have current experience with Oracle prebuilt Business Intelligence (BI) Applications (examples below), as well as Essbase for reporting.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Ø  8+ years overall with current/5+ years current OBIA development experience

Ø  Developing reports, working with Answers and Publisher in OBIEE 10g or 11g.

Ø  Experienced with Oracle pre-built BI Apps (i.e. OMSC, HR, Services, Financial, Procurement)

Ø  Hyperion Planning/Essbase experience

Ø  Significant experience working with RPD (business model) design and development in OBIEE 10g or 11g.

Ø  Strong knowledge of data marts, data warehousing and relational databases with current experience in data warehousing.

Ø  Development skills using SQL and PL/SQL.

Ø  Consulting experience a plus

Ø  Excellent communication and customer service skills expected

 

Description:

Ø  Business Intelligence Applications Developer responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of complex dashboards and reports across a global environment.

Ø  The BI Applications Developer will work closely with solution delivery team members and business liaisons to translate business needs into analytics / reporting requirements, designing and developing the most efficient solution.

Ø  As a member of the BI Team, work with ongoing project team accountable to design and develop  Dashboards Reports using Oracle OBIEE 11g

Ø  Develop project timelines and documentation during project life cycle presents to management and other team members for input; accountable for project management and results.

Ø  Responds to all business operations inquiries, needs and concerns regarding OBIEE utilization  including: enhancements to existing OBI subject areas, developing new subject areas, investigating  and resolving defects or issues to ensure business needs are met.

Ø  Accountable to gain an understanding of business needs and ensure development of  additional reports and dashboards are completed to a high quality standard - including the creation of functional requirements, use cases and technical specifications as an input to application design.

Ø  Develop and deliver solutions and prototypes as per detailed functional designs and comply with development methodology and other technical standards set by the BI team.
