Position: SAP EHS Functional Consultant
Location:Houston,TX
Duration:6 months plus contract

The SAP EHS Functional Consultant will work with Customer Solutions Leads and business clients to support and implement global processes primarily using standard SAP solution as well as other systems interfaced with SAP-EHS to support the business process.
Solution Support and Development
- Work with Customer Solution Analyst and business personnel to understand environmental, health and safety business and REACh compliance processes and provide the technology to support these processes
- Based on requirements submitted by the business, develop detailed functional and technical specification for changes to the SAP ECC, SAP Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC), and other associated systems relate to EHS
- Primary responsibility for incident management and resolution for area of responsibility
- Perform configuration for the EHS Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Health (specifically related to exposure monitoring and risk assessment), and PRC modules, Microsoft® Word for Windows Integration (WWI) templates including integrated components including SAP Materials Management/Procurement (MM), Sales/Distribution (SD) and Human Resources (HR) modules, standard data content, template, rules and multi-language phrase solutions, and Technidata Web Interface.
- Consult with ABAP developers and provide technical specs to develop customized solutions
- Provide ad hoc training and knowledge to business superusers as required in run and maintain activities, such as remedial training, issue resolution, etc.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SAP EHS modules, including
- Product Safety
- Dangerous Goods
- Industrial Hygiene specifically related to exposure monitoring and risk assessment
- Occupational Health
- PRC
- WWI Template development
- Working with integration of standard content, phrase, rule and templates with EHS (multiple languages)
- Technidata Web Interface
- Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users
- 5+ years SAP experience required
