Job Title: Lotus Notes Application Manager
Start Date: 6/3/2013
End Date: 12/31/2013
Location: Jersey City, NJ, US
Max Hourly Rate: USD $DOE.
Qualifications:
This will be 6 months Contract position.
Note: SharePoint InfoPath is a must have skill
Position Responsibilities/Duties
This person will be responsible for the day to day management of a group of Lotus Notes Application Developers. The Developers sit in both the US and Europe. This person will be part of the larger Workflow Team.
- Follow existing standards to determine the applicability of developing the request in Lotus Notes
- Ensure all requests are properly define as to what is wanted
- Ensure all work is properly documented - both program level and user level documentation.
- Ensure the team responds with a high level of customer service.
- Review existing databases to ensure all user documentation is up to date.
- Provides feedback to team management to ensure development/project deadlines are met
- Lead migration from Lotus Notes to Sharepoint
Experience/Knowledge Requirements
The ideal candidate will have had 5 years experience managing a Notes development team.
Managing a Global team is a plus.
Experience transferring skill sets from one technology to another technolgy
Sharepoint/info Path experience
Required Skills/Abilities
- Lotus Notes/Domino R8 and later
- LotusScript
- Lotus Notes API
- Lotus Notes/Domino Replication
- Requirements definition/System Detail Design
- Logical and Physical Database Design
- Data Conversion
- Database/Application Performance Tuning
- Understanding/familiarization with the following is a plus: xPages, Java, SSL, HTTP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON,
- Info Path
- Shareporint experience a plus
- Lotus Notes/Domino certification a plus.
Skills and Special Requirements (heavy lifting, excessive overtime, etc.)
willing to travel at least quarterly.
