6+ month contract in Bedford MA. FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW

QA Test Engineer

Participate within the Scrum team in the test design and test execution for multiple applications and components combined into complex processes/workflows. Work with the team to implement advanced testing techniques, test strategies, risks assessment, schedule management, test automation and more.

Job requirements:

• Experience in test design and test execution for complex systems – Must have

• Knowledge of QA methodologies – Must have

• Solid, hands-on experience of testing of both - web based and non-web applications – Must have

• A hands-on experience in building test automation utilizing at least one OO language (such as Java, C#, C++) and at least one scripting language (eg Perl) – Must have

Not Required but would be Nice to Have:

• Hands-on API testing experience - A huge plus

• Knowledge of the information security concepts, experience with security testing and threat modeling – A huge plus

• Experience with Web Services testing – A big plus

• BA in Computer Science or similar - A big plus

• Experience and/or good understanding of Agile/Scrum SDLC – A big plus

• Familiarity with test/automation tools – A big plus

• Professional courses in Software Testing – A plus

 

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would also be an advantage:

Windows, Linux, RDBMS (MS SQL, Oracle), XML, Information security, Cryptography, Networks, Firewalls, Proxy servers, Sniffers, SSL, PKI, Directories, Domain controllers, Web/App servers, Web applications, Web Services, Authentication methods (RSA SecurID, Smart cards, Tokens, Radius, LDAP), VMware
