Title : ASIC Verification Engineer
Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : 1 Year +/ Full Time
Rate / Salary : open/salary per annum
Visa Status : Any work status for contract / Full Time -"US citizens, GCH and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply."

Total Experience Required : 6- 8 Years
Mandatory Technical Skills :
Must – to have skill set
1. Strong ASIC/SoC verification experience
2. UVM – methodology experience
3. Scripting languages such as Perl,Shell Scripts etc.
4. System Verilog
5. Good working experience(minimum 4-5 Years) in the multimillion gate ASIC verification.
6. minimum 2-3 Years of working experience in the System Verilog
7. Good debug skills.
8. Good understanding of network concepts and packet based protocols
9. Usage of Synopsys DVE tool
10. Understanding of perl, TCL and Shell scripts.
11. ethernet Protocols(802,xx)
12. At least 5- 10 years core experience in implementing and /or verifying various Ethernet protocol layers.
13. CPU Read/Write logics/protocols,
14. Buffering mechanisms,
15. DDR functionality,
16. Basic Network processor understanding,
17. Experience in Switch fabric and bridges implementation and/or verification
18. Experience in performance testing for BW.
19. Multi clock domain synchronization
20. Good debug skills.(Should be able to debug environment which involve SV and C++)
21. Expertise in writing test benches(SV based) and test planning.
22. Should have worked on both module and system level verification.
23. Should have worked on regressions, coverage.
Desirable Technical Skills :
GOOD – to have skill set
1. Verification of the FPGA code(may need to use SV/UVM env)
2 .Data flow on VoQ ASICs
3. Minimum 2 Years experience in one of the verification methodologies (OVM/VMM/UVM).
4. Good understanding of network concepts and packet based protocol( arbitration, DWRR(Deficit weighted Round Robin), credit mechanism,L2 layer functionalities).
Desirable Functional Skills :
