Scope of Work:

 

• Architect, Design and Implement website and internal services
• Java, J2EE and spring expertise required
• Strong consulting and architecture skills
• Good communication and ability to manage a team
• Should be able to make sound architectural and design decisions and have a proven track record

 

Notes:For the overall tech lead/solution architect, we have a fairly big request for someone that is…

 

• A strong technologist with ability and desire to get deep into the code as needed
• A strong mentor who can encourage and lead engineers with various levels of skill to deliver high-quality, high-performing services/applications (i.e. be able to explain clearly why some design patterns are preferred over others, be able to pair with other engineers and show how to implement non-trivial functionality)
• A generalist who is familiar with the general technology stack that we use (Java, Spring, Tomcat/JBOSS, Restful services, SOAP services, JavaScript, JQuery, Sencha, Knockout.js, etc.) and the tooling that we use especially as it relates to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins/Electric Commander, Ant/Grade, Ivy, Artificatory, Chef/Puppet, etc.)
• Articulate and able to explain justification/rationale of technical decisions to audiences of various levels of technical understanding (from CTO to business partner)
• Politically savvy and able to navigate a complex organization, identify key partners and influence without authority
• In addition with possessing these noble traits, the ideal candidate would have experience leading large-size project teams of 20+
