Position: Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS 2007/2010)
Job Location : Washington, DC
Duration: 6+ Months

 

Mandatory Skills:

 

SharePoint 2010, WSS, MOSS 2007 platform configuration and customization.
 
Detailed JD

1. Develop solution approach and technical requirement documents and artifacts through understanding of business requirements and devise an implementation strategy.

2. Configure list and document libraries along with associated web parts for representing data in visual forms using commercially available or open source SharePoint chart and dashboard packages

3. Develop filters and dynamic chart  web parts that will be show data and information according to filter choices using Performance Point with source data from PowerPivot, Web services, BCS, RSS feed, SQL or Oracle.

4. Program BCS web services or external data and information feed from JIRA, SAP, other databases to collect, organize and display information in visual form. This should include caching and other mechanism to retain data and information needed for display of various tabs.

5. Proficiently use Silver Light charts, Excel Services, and Performance Points to configure/customize according to Dashboard needs.

6.Configure audience profile and permissions to display and allow access to information/features according to user roles.

7. Develop and implement a consistent metadata and content type strategy for document libraries and lists, including integration with tag clouds and search.

8. Program and develop re-usable layout pages and web parts that reduce complexity and produce an integrated dashboard of tasks and reports.

9. Develop and implement content upload Metadata schema to facilitate consistent and easily discoverable information. A carefully designed graphical user interface is an important deliverable. The consultant will create wireframes and necessary web graphics, styles, code that would help organize and provide an integrated experience in SharePoint. It includes custom CSS, layout pages, master pages, navigational elements, features, including top, and left hand navigation and menu items design and behavior, breadcrumbs, tabs, buttons, etc.

10. Understand security issues within SharePoint 2010 environment and help in addressing any OIS related issues

 

Selection Criteria

1. 3-5 years of experience with SharePoint 2010, WSS, MOSS 2007 platform configuration and customization.

2. Minimum of 2-4 years of solid experience with.Net, C# and CAML based programming.

3. OLAP cube data design and working experience with SQL Server 2005 SP3 or 2008 query, programming, schema design, database management.

4.1-4 years' experience with SharePoint based web page layout and design using CSS, Ajax, JQuery, SharePoint Designer

5. 1-2 years' experience with advanced data visualization techniques and tools

6.Minimum 1 year experience with web services and external data/information consumption programming in SharePoint and .Net based environment.

7. Proven ability to work with people at all levels, with strong oral and written communication skills

8. Preferred: Experience with interfacing SharePoint with SAP, CA Clarity, JIRA and work experience with Bamboo Solution's PM Central 3.0.  Also, prior experience with Bank's or other organization collaborative and web based information management systems.
