Location: Houston, TX
Duration : 6 Months +
Project require Citrix multi-skill resource with good knowledge of Netscaler as primary and Citrix products.
Job Description :
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implementation Netscaler MPX and VPX models.
- During design recommend right features and model
- Upgrade Netscaler from old hardware to MPX hardware.
- Basic configuration knowledge of router and switch that will require during Netscaler appliance configuration or integration.
- Configuring high availability for Netscaler hardware.
- Configure ADNS and GSLB solution.
- Configure site level high availability solution.
- Implement Netscaler as Access gateway and integrate with Citrix Xenapp or Xendesktop solution.
- Implement Netscaler as SSL VPN solution and integrate with production VLAN.
- Integrate Netscaler with third party authentication like RADIUS-RSA, AD etc.
- Configure Netscaler to scan End device (EPA) and customize the scan as per project and security standard.
- Configure Netscaler as SSL offloading and caching.
- Implement Netscaler as reverse proxy, caching features.
- Load balance devices up to layer7.
- Understand the lifecycle of Netscaler hardware recommend for hardware upgrade.
- Constantly monitor the feature and firmware release. Update the production Netscaler to latest release.
Experience ( Essential )
- Engineering Degree with 8-10 years in IT, in which candidate should have 4 to 6 years of consulting /Administration of Netscaler.
· Strong knowledge on MPX and VPX models andArchitecting/design experience on these technologies.
- IT Infrastructure domain knowledge with routing and switching experience.
- Strong hand-on knowledge in integrating Netscaler with third party applications like RSA, AD, SSL Monitoring etc.
· Hand-on experience in handling various MPX models and VPX installation.
· Understand the benefits and features of various models.
· Hands-on experience in configuring Netscaler as Access-gateway and SSL VPN solution.
· Knowledge of SSL certificates and configuring external CA SSL certificate.
· Knowledge of Netscaler licensing and feature licensing models.
· Basic Knowledge of Citrix Xenapp and Xendesktop.
· Hands-on experiencing in configuring and troubleshooting HA issues.
· Knowledge of integrating Netscaler with Command center.
· Good Communication skills
· Process orientation
· Good and effective written and oral communication
Experience ( Preferred)
· Experience of working in International business environment.
· Citrix Netscaler Certification.
