Role: Hadoop Admin

Location: Pennsylvania, United States

 

Must Have skills:

•             Strong administrator who can work closely with the offshore resources and with the client to not just work on the tactical needs, but also to proactively come up with technical improvements and suggestions.

•             This will have to be a strong technical role with abilities to coordinate with offshore and interface with the client

•             HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Flume, Sqoop, ZooKeeper, HBase

•             Experience working in Onsite/Offshore model

•             Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with the customer

•             Experience in installation, configuration, supporting and managing Hadoop clusters

•             Experience in using Pig, Hive, Scoop, HBase, ZooKeeper and Cloudera Manager.

•             Good Knowledge on Hadoop Cluster architecture and monitoring the cluster.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science graduates with 4-7 years of experience.
