JD: Network Integration & Support Engineer - Cisco
Experienced engineering candidate sought to support the following :
· Implementation, Integration and end-to-end testing of Cisco's Packet Core equipments in Mobile Lab (LTE EPC components – S-GW, P-GW, PCEF)
· Build the required LTE lab test beds with the SuT (system under test) nodes from Cisco, bring-up the nodes with the required software release, integrate, configure and Perform E-2-E Service testing
· Support troubleshooting of interoperability and end-to-end service related integration and test activities for Cisco products and related elements in the lab.
· Responsible for firmware and configuration updates to the Cisco products.
· Maintain and update as-built documentation and annotated call flow, testing and troubleshooting guides for use by other lab testing and support teams.
· Raise defects from integration perspective and Anchor the triage meetings between Cisco, test team and AT&T
Required Skills:
· Primary / Mandatory skills:-
o Complete understanding of LTE E-2-E Network and IP Routing
o Working knowledge on GSM/UMTS/LTE packet core network testing
o Hands-on experience of testing E-2-E Services in UMTS, Lte
o Working experience in configuring the SGSN, MME, S-GW, P-GW, RNC, PCRF nodes in lab or production network
o Understanding of mobility-related call flows; S11, S1-U, S5, Gn, Gx, Ga
o Experience in Cisco ASR 5500 hardware for ePC implementation
o Knowledge of complimentary Packet Core Applications; GTP-C, GTP-U, RADIUS, LDAP, DIAMETER, DNS
o Specific experience testing LTE network features/services: VoLTE, CSFB, SRVCC, QoS, Inter/Intra RAT handovers, Traffic Shaping, Queuing
o Knowledge of 3GPP specifications for LTE technology
o Hands-on experience ins using the interface message analyzers – Wireshark, NetMeter or any commercial tools (K12xx, Nethawk EAST)
· Secondary / Optional skills:-
o Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VPLS, VRRP, SSH, SNMP) and L2 Protocols (VLAN, STP, PVST, LACP)
o Hands on experience integrating network hardware including Gateways, routers, switches, probes/Taps, terminal servers
o Knowledge of Ethernet switching technologies, services, and IEE/IETF/MEF standards
o Specific experience troubleshooting network services and equipment and identifying and correcting problems
o In depth knowledge and strong experience with Cisco IOS
o Specific experience with test equipment from Spirent, IXIA, ANUE, JDSU
