DUTIES
The Project QA Lead will provide QA services for the implementation of Facets as well as the build and data load of the warehouse and associated reports. This role will be heavily involved with UAT of business processes with the Line of Business (LOB).
In conjunction with other technical staff on the project team, work could include:
· Lead all QA testing resources on the legacy replacement project
· Assess and size QA project scope
· Provide direction and support to all testing resources
· Direct and support LOB UAT resources
· Report QA project status to project stakeholders as needed
· Create Project QA Plan
· Follow SDLC QA framework established by Agency QA
· Assess capabilities and constraints to meeting project delivery
· Identify risks to QA processes and plans
· Establish the project issue management process and manages it in cooperation with project management
· Assure test team follows QA practices and processes throughout the project
· Assure project QA deliverables are complete and retained
· Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues
· Review requirements for completeness, testability and adherence to standards
· Develop and oversee execution of test cases
· Prepare documentation as needed for future audits
· Actively participate as a member of the project team
· Experience in the Healthcare/Claims field preferred
· Experience directing/leading UAT efforts
· Understanding of business processes and their validation
· Experience validating reports
· Experience as Test Lead on high profile projects
· Experience assessing and sizing QA project scope
· Experience working in an environment without industry standard requirement/test management tools
· Experience validating data migration
· Business Analyst experience desired
· Solid understanding of software development life cycle
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with IT and business units
· Able to work independently and as a member of a team
· Proactive in work assignments, identifying potential risks to minimize impact to deadlines
· Demonstrated troubleshooting and risk analysis in previous work assignment
· Strong analytical and technical skills
List of Deliverables, e.g. what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish:
· Regular status reports
· Identification and estimation of QA tasks for overall project plan
· Creation of a project QA plan
· Establish a project issue management process and manage it in cooperation with project management
· Produce library of test cases for software and data warehouse
· Deliver test progress/status reporting
· QA documentation created/utilized in the project
· Active project team member
