| Lead .NET Programmer Position This position will be involved in the development of ..NET clinical systems. Required skills for this position are strong C# ..NET design and programming background. Desired skills are XML, ASP, Javascript, Oracle or SQL Server. In addition, this person would be a mentor to other team members. |
| Proficient in project planning, from initial scope to final implementation. Able to analyze systems, identify areas of weakness and potentials for process improvement. Develops standards for code maintenance. Communicates operational procedures to help desk and team-members. Oversees code walk-through, which includes data validation and optimization. Helps with the development of test scripts for system changes/enhancements. Participates in system implementation planning activities, unit testing, and on-site support during start-up implementations. Functions as liaison between Information Services and user community. Serves as a technical resource to user departments. Maintains confidentiality of data, and promotes security concepts to others. Serves on an on-call rotation among the team. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of supported systems. Offers innovative solutions to complex problems. Acts as a resource within IS. Maintains good working knowledge of programming languages and strong understanding of database modeling/querying. Utilizes utilities and maintains good working knowledge of languages, access methods, and communication systems. Establishes and maintains necessary working relationship with application vendors. Investigates departmental requests for Information Services service and assesses user needs. Prepares weekly status, service request, and call-log reports. Writes and obtains approval for policies, procedures, team and operations documentation. Provides feedback on issues to supervisor on a regular basis. |
| Requires BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent. Requires programming experience typically gained through 8 plus years experience. Requires .NET C# experience in real-world, complex projects with small to medium teams.. Requires Database Oracle or SQL Server experience.. Requires SQL (Query Language) experience.. Requires ability to comprehend complex technical and logic flows.. Requires knowledge of appropriate programming languages and structured programming techniques.. Requires knowledge of assigned applications.. Requires excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.. Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks..
