Job Description:
Required Skills :
- Very strong Java core developer with deep knowledge of the language – special attention to concurrency / multi-threading and networking
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns applied to
- Fairly proficient in relational databases - developer level (JDBC, one ORM)
- Good knowledge of messaging / queue system (ideally, Apache ActiveMQ)
- Some experience with AJAX web front-end development (ideally, ExtJS)
- Fully confident in configuring, deploying and developing application on Apache Tomcat
- Experience with Spring (experience with Spring Form Binding a plus)
- Basic understanding of map-reduce in the context of Big data / NoSQL DBs
- Fairly Proficient in Agile Development methodologies
- Previous experience working with JSON
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Hadoop
- Experience with MongoDB
