Job title: IT Analyst - Oracle
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 9-12 months
Project Description : Project deals with configuration of networking products and services part of Quoting and Ordering process
Years of experience : 6-8 yrs
Responsibilities:
- Gather and examine business requirements, works between cross functioning groups for requirement clarifications
- Perform functional analysis; find solution for business requirement Prepare Functional Specifications Document
- Explain requirements, scope and functional design to stake holders
- Follow-up with stake holders for any change requests against original requirements.
- Acts as the functional scope owner
- Proficiency with tools used to support Oracle Applications development including, but not limited to, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports.
- Hands on understanding of latest features and tools in Oracle and related technologies – Data Hub Setups, Product Information Management, Advanced PL-SQL (Programming Language Concepts and Database Relational Model)
- Work on Optimization techniques, Proof of Concepts, Performance Tuning Benefits and Principals Desirable.
Required Skills:
Minimum 6-8 years prior Information Technology experience required
- Good knowledge & hands on as IT analyst - Oracle ERP environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports.
- Self learner
- Experience working with business team, production environment.
- Experience of business processes in hi-tech manufacturing and configuration of networking products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
