Requirement:
Need: Sr. Cognos BI Developer/Analyst
Duration: 6 + months
Client: Winery
Location: Woodinville, WA
Rate: DOE
Start Date: Immediate
Interview: Telephonic, Skype or In-person depending on candidate location
· Work with Business Analysts and IT personnel (DBA and .NET Programmers) to troubleshoot Cognos 10 reporting
· Integrate Cognos 10 reports with MS Office applications; convert existing reports; automate where practical
· Work with IT to create MSO report distribution via subscription services (tools TBD)
· Automate production of MS PowerPoint presentations
· Troubleshoot MS PowerPivot application; migrate to Enterprise reporting
· Migrate Office applications to Enterprise Reporting (Cognos 10.2 or MS Reporting services)
· Must have experience with complex data schemas and SQL; solid understanding of stored procedure design
· Must have excellent communication and presentation skills as this role expects heavy interaction with other IT members and end users.
Client technical environment: Mixed SQL 2008 R2 environment migrating to SQL 2012 with Cognos 10.1 moving to 10.2 ..
