Location: Charlottesville NC
Duration: 6 Months
· Minimum 6 years' experience using Core Java
· Experience writing Shell scripts in LINUX.
· Must have excellent and in-depth knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, stored Procedures
· Must have experience in Software Design Patterns, Best Practices
· Experience in analyzing text, streams with emerging Hadoop-based big data, NoSQL.
1. Hands on experience with Running Pig and Hive Queries.
2. Analyzing data with Hive, Pig and HBase
3. Data scrubbing and processing with Oozie.
4. Importing and exporting the data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database systems/mainframe and vice-versa.
5. Loading data into HDFS.
6. Developing MapReduce Program to format the data.
7. Teradata SQL Conversion to Hadoop
· Must have hands on experience with Large Data Warehouses
· Must have 6+ years of development experience in any of the RDBMS like
8. ORACLE,
9. SYBASE,
10. TERADATA,
11. NETEZZA,
12. MS SQL etc.
· Experience developing a batch process
· Experience in any ETL tools like, Informatica, InfoSphere, TalenD etc.
· Ability to understand COBOL and Mainframe concepts
· Have the zeal to contribute, collaborate and work in a team environment
Must have excellent communication skills.
