As a IT Recruiter your responsibilities will include:
Recruiting, interviewing and placing application development and technical support professionals in contract and contract-to-hire positions with our clients
Providing outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates
Providing consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
Participating in industry trade associations to increase our presence within the local IT community
Assisting with the development and training of Technical Recruiters
Develop and Execute Recruiting Plans
Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
Marketing bench consultants.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Post openings online, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
Utilize Social Media and the Internet to maximize recruiting outreach:
Provide input and recommendations for improving the company's online recruitment presence
Continually research new ways of using the Internet and Social Media for recruitment.
Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
Education and Experience Required:
3 - 5 years experience as a full life cycle recruiter
2+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT staffing
Experience recruiting a wide range of skills including technical and project management
Ability to leverage technology experience to manage and grow the business
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience with College Recruiting Initiatives
Experience leveraging Social Media such as LinkedIn, YouTube and Face Book, for recruiting purposes
Experience recruiting for a consulting company
