Requirement / Responsibilities:
• Database administration and management of medium to large scale database configurations, schemas, and space.
• Rollout new application code / builds in various production and non-production Oracle 10g / 11g environments.
• Performance tuning, problem research/resolution, code reviews and deployments, Oracle SQL support, and data movement.
• Experience with Oracle RAC technology on Linux and / or oracle replication is a plus.
• Monitor the database health and performance
• Troubleshooting database issues
• Open & follow-up on Service support tickets with Oracle support.
• Oracle RMAN and ksh scripting experience
• The ability to work with various knowledge levels of application teams on SQL tuning, application process tuning, production performance troubleshooting is highly required.
• excellent verbal and written/email skills
